EASTERN AUSTRALIAN MARKET REPORT

COMMENT.

It was a much better market tone today when compared to that of the past two weeks.     

FLEECE

The selected best Italian types are particularly well supported with 17.0 to 18.0 micron in the keenest demand.

Better yielding, low VM fleece were 0.5% dearer with 18.0 to 19.0 micron most affected.

All other descriptions fully firm but tending dearer as the sale progressed.

SKIRTINGS

Better light fault skirtings finished the day up to 1% dearer with 16.5 the most affected.
