COMMENT

Grower resistance assisted the market sentiment today with approx. 30% passed in across the fleece categories, along with consistent indent pressure in a reduced offering. European interests were strong in the quality super-fines and certified wools on offer today. 

FLEECE

Best fine certified NM lines remain keenly sought after with 20.5 and finer fully firm. Italian interests dominating.

Good ‘Chinese’ types 17.5 and 18.5 were firm today.

Best style 17.5/18.5 micron 1% dearer.

19.0/19.5 micron firm

20.0/21.5 micron 1% dearer..

SKIRTINGS

Best light fault types 1% dearer, others more irregular.
