Market shows signs of easing.

North Island only offering 6,100 bales.
Selection consisted of 18% crossbred fleece good/average colour, 62% crossbred second shears mainly good colour, 50/100mm, 6% crossbred lambs good/average colour, 13% associated oddments average/poor colour and 1% miscellaneous types.
The market today showed signs of easing on the back of continued tariff pressures. Competition was affected by these negative sentiments with only the more favourable types maintaining market levels. Based on the selection the main buyers were Europe and India with support from local Australasian mills and China.
Fleece
Crossbred fleece good colour up to 2% dearer.
Poor colour fully firm.
Shears
Crossbred shears all descriptions up to 2% cheaper.
Lambs
In a small selection good lambs fleece firm.
Oddments
Carding oddments firm to buyers favour.
Passings
15% Passed In.
