COMMENT

Fleece 20-30 cents cheaper, skirtings 20-30 cents cheaper, and open tops unchanged to 20 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market opened on a solid note with prices for best spec wools slightly higher than yesterday. However as the sale progressed prices began to ease and by the close all microns were around 20-30 cents cheaper.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 35.5%.

SKIRTINGS

18.5u and finer skirtings were generally 20-30 cents cheaper, while 19.5u and broader were 20 cents dearer.

OPEN TOPS

Finer open tops were 20-30 cents cheaper, while 20.5u and broader were unchanged.
