COMMENT
Fleece 60-100 cents dearer, skirtings 20-30 cents dearer, and open tops unchanged to 30 cents dearer.
FLEECE
The fleece market followed the lead from the east and rose sharply. 18.5u and finer were less affected and around 60 cents dearer, while 19.0u and broader were 80-100 cents dearer.
The passed-in rate for fleece was 7.2%.
SKIRTINGS
Skirtings were generally 20-30 cents dearer with broader microns most affected.
OPEN TOPS
Finer open tops were unchanged while 18.5u and broader were 20-30 cents dearer.
