COMMENT

Fleece generally 10 cents cheaper, skirtings 20 cents cheaper and open tops unchanged.

FLEECE

The fleece market opened around 15-20 cents cheaper, with high cvh wools the most affected. It was noticeable as the sale progressed, 19.5u and finer all began to firm and were generally unchanged by the end of the sale. Again there was very strong demand for low cvh wools.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 7.7%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 20 cents cheaper.

OPEN TOP

Open tops were unchanged.
