COMMENT

Fleece generally 60-120 cents cheaper, skirtings 50 cents cheaper and open tops generally 25-40 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market fell heavily today. 18.5u and finer were less affected with falls of around 50-60 cents, while 19.0u and broader were 100-120 cents cheaper. The broader microns continued to drift through the sale, while the finer microns held their levels to the close.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 35.6%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 60 cents cheaper.

OPEN TOP

Open tops were generally 25-50 cents cheaper.
