COMMENT

Fleece generally unchanged, skirtings 20-30 cents cheaper and open tops 25 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market was generally unchanged today. Good spec fleece again attracted good demand and finished 5-10 cents dearer. Overall the market finished on a strong note, tending dearer at the close.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 10.9%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 20-30 cents cheaper.

OPEN TOP

Open tops were generally 25 cents cheaper.

COMMENT

Fleece 70-90 cents cheaper, skirtings 40-50 cents cheaper and open tops 50-70 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market followed Melb/Sydney and opened 70-90 cents cheaper today.  High yielding fleece wools continued to attract good support and attracted premiums of 30-40 cents. The main buyers were Techwool, PJ Morris and Tianyu.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 13.8%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 40-50 cents cheaper.

Open tops were generally 50-70 cents cheaper.

COMMENT

Fleece 10-15 cents dearer, skirtings 30-40 cents dearer and open tops 25 cents dearer.

FLEECE

The fleece market opened 15-20 cents dearer today with all microns and types equally affected. Towards the end of the sale it was noticeable that prices eased back, especially for 20.5u and broader which ended the day cheaper.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 14.9%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 30-40 cents dearer with the fine end most affected.

Open tops were generally 25 cents dearer.

Fleece up to 30 cents cheaper, skirtings 30-40 cents cheaper and open tops 20 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market drifted another 30 cents cheaper today. Initially better tested wools remained firm but towards the end of the day they also came back 20-30 cents.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 15.7%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 30-40 cents cheaper.

OPEN TOP

17.5u and finer open tops were firm, while 18.5u and broader were 25 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market saw rises of 30-40 cents for better tested 19.5u and finer. Broader and lower yielding wools slid back around 20 cents.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 7.2%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally firm compared to last week.

Fleece 30 cents cheaper, skirtings 20-30 cents cheaper and open tops 50-80 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market fell a further 20-40 cents today. This time it was the finer end that suffered the most with falls up to 50 cents while the 20.5u and broader fell by around 15-20 cents.

Fleece had a high passed-in rate of 40.2%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 20-30 cents cheaper with the fine end the most affected.

Open tops were generally 50-80 cents cheaper.

Fleece 30 cents cheaper, skirtings 30-40 cents cheaper and open tops 30-50 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market continued to drift lower today with all types around 30 cents cheaper. Some better tested 17.5u fleece sold at levels similar to last week.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 33.6%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 30-40 cents cheaper.

Open tops were generally 30-40 cents cheaper.

Fleece 5-10 cents cheaper, skirtings unchanged and open tops 15 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market eased slightly again today, with 19.5u and broader drifting by around 5-10 cents. There was strong demand for best style 18.5u and finer fleece which saw prices 5-10 cents dearer.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 11.2%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally unchanged, with good demand for 18.0u and finer lots.

OPEN TOP

19.5u and broader open tops fell by 15 cents, while finer microns were firm on a limited offering today.

Fleece 15-40 cents dearer, skirtings 20-30 cents dearer and open tops 20 cents dearer.

FLEECE

The fleece market rose again today with better spec wools up to 40-50 cents dearer, while average spec fleece was firm to 10 cents dearer. The finer end was the most affected. Brokers withdrew a large number of lots prior to the sale which resulted in more pressure on the market.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 5.2%.

Skirtings were generally 20-30 cents dearer.

FLEECE

The fleece market rose by 15-30 cents today, with better spec lots the most affected and attracting very strong demand. Poorer spec fleece was firm to 10 cents dearer.

Fleece had a passed-in rate of 14.3%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 20-30 cents dearer.
