There was an increase in quantity this week and the market couldn’t quite hold the levels as we head into the recess period. Exporters were reluctant to build stock and hold it over the recess period while sales have slowed a little. The few new season superfine wools that have come onto the market did sell better than most, particularly if certified with a traceable program like Authentico, or RWS.
