AUSTRALIAN WEEKLY MARKET REPORT

Comment

The market found its feet this week off the back of strong demand. Chinese indent and traders were all active selling stocks and then going into the market to replenish. European style wools with high quality and excellent specifications all gained ground this week, especially 17.0/18.0 micron category attracted most interest. Certified wools of high quality remain in good demand and competition. The seasonal conditions are still having an impact of wool receivals, wool harvesting and overlength due these factors.
