COMMENT

Fleece firm to slightly dearer, and skirtings 20-30c cheaper, and open tops 30-40 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

Fleece prices were generally firm today, with better spec wools 19.5u and finer 5-10 cents dearer. There was good, even competition from most exporters today, although the market eased back marginally in the last 15 minutes.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 7.7%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings finished the day around 20-30 cents cheaper with finer microns the most affected.

Open tops were generally 20-40 cents cheaper today.
