Market eases

There was another good selection of Merinos on offer at this week’s sale in Christchurch ranging from 15.0 through to 21.0 micron.  The market took time to readjust to the lower levels experienced by the Australian market last week.  Merino fleece was generally easier by 2.0 to 6.5% with the finer wools most effected when compared to the last South Island sale.  Competition remained strong at these new levels.
