There was another good selection of Merinos on offer at this week’s sale in Christchurch ranging from 16.0 through to 21.0 micron.  Merino fleece was generally easier by 1.5 to 5% when compared to the last South Island sale in line with the Australian market.  However once again the better wools sold very well and were keenly sought after with some lots extreme.  The sale was well supported with new competition on the bench this week.
