North Island only offering 6,600 bales.

Selection consisted of 2% crossbred fleece mainly good/average colour, 75% crossbred second shears mainly good colour, 50/100mm, 4% crossbred lambs good/average colour, 18% associated oddments average/poor colour and 1% miscellaneous types.

Competition today was steady on the back of continued negative market sentiment and an increase in USD:NZD cross. With most of the selection being good colour shears, main competition came from Europe and India, with good support shown by China, United Kingdom and local Australasian mills.
