COMMENT

Some variation between markets as they align in this opening sale series based on selection and demand. Certified wool still attracts keen interest while the rest of the market traverses with trading and indent buying commitments. 

FLEECE

Best fine certified NM lines remain keenly sought after with 18.5 and finer fully firm. Italian interests dominating.

Good ‘Chinese’ types 17.5 and 18.5 were up to 2% dearer today.

Best style 17.5/18.5 micron 1% dearer.

19.0/19.5 micron firm

20.0/21.5 micron 1% easier.

SKIRTINGS

Best light fault types 1% easier, others more irregular.

OPEN TOP

Generally 1 to 2% easier in a very limited selection.
