COMMENT

Fleece good spec firm, poor spec 10-20 cents cheaper, skirtings 10 cents cheaper, and open tops 20-50 cents dearer.

FLEECES.

Prices for good spec fleece remained firm today, while poor spec wools fell around 10-20 cents. The market held these levels through to the end of the sale with very good support for low vm and low cvh wools.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 38.9%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 10 cents cheaper.

OPEN TOPS

18.5u and finer open tops were in demand pushing 20-70 cents higher, while 19.5u and broader were 20 cents cheaper.
