North Island only offering 5,600 bales. The selection consisted of 48% hogget/ewe second shear, average/good style bulk 75/100mm, 25% hogget fleece, 32.0 to 34.0 micron 75/125mm, 10% crossbred fleece average/good style 100/125mm and longer, 15% associated oddments and 2% miscellaneous types. Europe and United Kingdom main with limited support from the Indian sub continent, China and Australasian carpet mills.

Fleece

Good colour hogget and ewe fleece 2.5% dearer.

Poorer style fleece 4% dearer.

Second Shears

Crossbred hogget and ewe second shear 3% dearer.

Poorer style second shear 4% dearer.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments all descriptions 3.5% dearer.
