Comment

South Island only offering 6,900 bales.  The selection consisted of 70% good/average colour crossbred fleece, 10% lambs good colour new season clip, 5% crossbred shears, good/average colour bulk 75mm, 13% crossbred oddments and 2% miscellaneous types.  A much more animated tone in the auction today with some spirited bidding on the more favourable better colour types pushing prices up across all types finishing on a strong note.  All sectors operating today.

Shears

Crossbred second shear 6% dearer.

Lambs

New season lambs 6% dearer.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments including lamb oddments 4% dearer.

Passings

8% Passed In.
