Market continues to move up.

South Island only selling this week with an offering of 5,625 bales.
Selection consisted of 55% crossbred fleece good to average colour, 10% crossbred second shear, good colour, 9% crossbred hogget fleece good colour, 14% early season lambs, good colour, 11% associated oddments and 1% miscellaneous types.
Prices continued to increase again this week with the better colour styles keenly sought after. New season lambs and shears also followed this trend with most sectors operating. Asia and the Subcontinent continued to dominate across all fleece types. Main buyers were China, Europe and the United Kingdom supported by the Subcontinent and local Australasian mills.

Crossbred fleece all descriptions 2% dearer.
Crossbred hoggets 3% dearer.
Shears
Crossbred shears good and average colour 3% dearer.
Lambs
Crossbred lambs average colour 3% dearer.
Oddments
Crossbred clothing oddments up to 4% dearer.
Combing oddments 5% dearer.
Passings
