Market generally firm but average/poorer colour cheaper.

Comment

North Island only selling this week offering 8,300 bales.  The selection consisted of 10% average/poor colour crossbred fleece, bulk 75/150mm, 44% crossbred average/poor colour second shear bulk 75mm, 32% average colour lambs 29.0 to 31.0 micron, 11% associated oddments and 3% miscellaneous types.  Indian subcontinent and Europe main supported by local carpet mills.

In a limited selection good colour fully firm.

Average/poor colour 4% cheaper.

Second Shears

In a limited selection good colour fully firm.

Average/poor colour 4% cheaper.

Lambs

Lambs fleece very firm.

Oddments

All oddments firm.
