Summary

Good colour wool strengthens, poorer colour and oddments cheaper, lambs firm.

Comment

North Island only selling this week offering 10,400 bales.  The selection consisted of 28% average colour crossbred fleece, bulk 75/150mm, 30% crossbred good colour second shear bulk 75/100mm, 30% good/average colour lambs 29.0 to 31.0 micron, 10% associated oddments, mostly poor colour and 2% miscellaneous types.  Indian subcontinent, China and Europe main supported by local carpet mills.

Fleece

In a limited selection good colour crossbred fleece very firm.

Poorer colour crossbred fleece 6% cheaper.

Second Shears

Good colour crossbred shears very firm.

Poorer colour crossbred shears 6% cheaper.

Lambs

Lambs fleece very firm.

Oddments

7% cheaper.
