Market mixed again.

Comment

North Island only selling this week with 5,900 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of 45% crossbred second shear/early shorn mainly good colour, bulk 75mm and 75/100mm, 25% crossbred hogget shears good colour bulk 50/100mm and 75/100mm, 10% crossbred fleece good/average colour 100/150mm, 15% oddments mainly average/poor colour and 5% miscellaneous types.  Main competition India and the Continent with support from the United Kingdom, China and local carpet mills.

Crossbred fleece good style buyers favour.

Crossbred fleece average style 2% dearer.

Second Shears

Crossbred second shears good style buyers favour.

Crossbred second shears average style 2% dearer.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments 2% cheaper.
