South Island only selling this week with 7,343 bales on offer. The selection consisted of 55% crossbred fleece 36.0 to 39.0 micron, mainly good colour 75/150mm, 15% crossbred second shear 35.0 to 40.0 micron good colour 50/75mm, 7% crossbred lambs in a limited selection, 12% associated oddments, 6% halfbred fleece good/average colour and 5% merino types. Selected competition with India main, supported by Europe, the United Kingdom and Australasian carpet mills.
