- CommentNorth Island only selling today with only 5,000 bales on offer. The selection consisted of mainly second shear 36 to 39 micron 75mm. There were some second shear wools available 50/75 mm, 31 to 34 micron. Good competition with China and Australasian carpet mills main and support from the Europe, the United Kingdom and India.
- FleeceIn a limited selection crossbred fleece was fully firm.
- Second ShearsHogget second shear 31.0 to 35.0 micron 50/75 mm up to 5% dearer.
35.0 micron and coarser 75/100mm and shorter 2.5% dearer.
