Market continues its upward surge.
Comment
Combined North and South Island selling this week with an offering of 6,625 bales.
Selection consisted of 26% crossbred fleece mainly average to poor colour, 36% crossbred second shear, good to average colour, 13% crossbred lambs, good to average colour, 17% associated oddments, 6% halfbreds and 2% miscellaneous types.
Compared to the auction 28th May, the market continued to soar to new heights. Even with a good supply of good colour shears, demand was very strong. Poor types jumped the most with significant interest in oddments. Main buyers were China and India with support from the Australasian mills.

Crossbred fleece all styles 6-7% dearer.
Shears
Crossbred shears all styles 6-7% dearer.
Lambs
Crossbred lambs good colour up to 7% dearer.
Poor colour 8% dearer.
Oddments
Crossbred oddments up to 9% dearer.
Lamb oddments up to 10% dearer.
