North Island only selling this week with an offering of 9,270 bales.

Selection consisted of 16% crossbred fleece good to average colour, 30% crossbred second shear, mainly good colour, 39% crossbred lambs, good colour, 13% associated oddments and 2% miscellaneous types.

From the start of the day prices maintained a positive sentiment with buyers competing strongly across all types.  Only those lots with any sign of average colour showed a slight softening against the back of a very firm market.
