South Island only offering 6,100 bales.

Selection consisted of 45% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 20% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 25% lambs mainly average colour and 10% associated oddments average/poor colour.

Competition muted with the only pressure being on good colour lines.  Most sectors operating.  United Kingdom, India and Europe main with support from China and local mills.

Fleece

Good colour fleece sellers favour.

Average/poor colour crossbred fleece up to 3% cheaper.

Shears

Good colour crossbred shears up to 3% cheaper.

Average/poor colour crossbred shears up to 3% cheaper.

Lambs

All descriptions very firm to sellers favour.
