North Island only offering 3,710 bales.

Selection consisted of 14% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 38% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 26% lambs fleece good/average/poor colour, 19% associated oddments average/poor colour and 3% miscellaneous types.

Main competition for good colour continues to be pushed by the United Kingdom and Europe with China, India and local mills showing support on the poorer colour fleece and shears.
