Market dearer again.

Comment

South Island only offering 7,100 bales.  The selection consisted of 55% average colour crossbred fleece, 75/125mm, 5% crossbred second shear good colour, bulk 75/100mm, 9% good colour lambs 28.0 to 30.0 micron, 6% halfbred fleece 26.0 to 30.0 micron, 6% merino fleece, 15% associated oddments and 5% miscellaneous types.  Indian subcontinent main with support from China and local carpet mills.

Fleece

Good colour crossbred fleece 3% dearer.

Poorer colour crossbred fleece 4.5% dearer.

Second Shears

Good style 3% dearer.

Poorer colour 4.5% dearer.

Lambs

Lambs fleece 6% dearer.

Oddments

Sellers favour, with better colour up to 8% dearer.

5% passed in.
