Market easier again.

Comment

South Island only selling this week offering 7,000 bales.  The selection consisted of 38% crossbred fleece 100/150mm bulk average colour, some better style wools appearing, 15% crossbred second shear 75mm mainly good colour, 27% lambs fleece, 30-32 micron bulk 50/75mm good/average colour, 12% associated oddments, 3% halfbred fleece and 5% miscellaneous types.  Limited competition today with Australasian carpet mills and Indian Sub Continent main.  Support from Europe and the United Kingdom.

Fleece

Good colour crossbred fleece 3% cheaper.

Poorer colour buyers favour.

Second Shears

Good colour crossbred shears 2.5% cheaper.

Lambs

Good style lambs 29.0 to 30.5 micron firm.

31.0 micron & coarser 5% cheaper.

Oddments

All oddments 5% cheaper.

30% passed in.
