South Island only offering 9,000 bales this week. The selection consisted of 40% crossbred ewe fleece, bulk 75/150mm average colour, 23% crossbred second shear bulk 75mm good colour, 20% lambs fleece, 29-31 micron 50/75mm good colour, 13% associated oddments and 4% miscellaneous types. Good competition with Indian sub-continent main and support from local carpet mills, United Kingdom and Europe.
