Market eases again.

Comment

South Island only offering 7,950 bales this week.  The selection consisted of 18% second shear good/average style, bulk 75mm, 48% crossbred ewe fleece generally average colour bulk 75/125mm and longer, 20% lambs fleece, bulk 28.5/31.0 micron, good/average colour and 14% associated oddments.  Market continued to soften on the average colour fleece, shears and lambs while only the good colour fleece and shears showed a positive sentiment.  United Kingdom and Australasian mills main with support from the Indian sub continent, China and Europe.

Good colour 2.5% cheaper.

Average colour 10% cheaper.

Second Shears

Good colour 2.5% cheaper.

Average colour 10% cheaper.

Lambs

10% cheaper.

Oddments

All descriptions 5% cheaper.

Passings

32% passed in.
