COMMENT

South Island only selling today with 10,000 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of good to average style fleece and second shear.  There was a limited selection of end of season lambs.  Very keen competition with Europe and the United Kingdom main and support from China.


FLEECE

Good and good/average fleece firm to 1% dearer.

Poorer colour fleece 1% cheaper.


SECOND SHEARS

All descriptions 1.5% dearer.


COMBING LAMBS

Generally firm, but 28.0 and finer extreme in a limited quantity.


SHORT LAMBS

Generally firm, but 28.0 and finer extreme in a limited quantity.


COMBING SKIRTINGS

All types 2% dearer.


SHORT ODDMENTS

All types 2% dearer.


PASSINGS

12% Passed In.
