Western Australia market follows the Eastern states down
The fleece market opened 30 cents cheaper today and continued to drift throughout the sale. By the close most microns were around 40-50 cents cheaper, with the finer end most affected and the better spec broader wools less affected. Seatech, Tianyu and West Coast were the main fleece buyers today.
The passed-in rate for the fleece was 23.5% today.
Skirtings were around 15-30 cents cheaper.
Open tops were generally 25-30 cents cheaper on another very small offering today.
