COMMENT

North Island only selling today with 8,600 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of mainly average colour fleece wool and a small selection of good/average colour crossbred shears 3" and shorter.  Very limited selection of new and old season lambs.  Competition from Europe and United Kingdom with support from China and the Sub-Continent.


FLEECE

Good and average colour generally 3% cheaper.


SECOND SHEARS

Good and average colour generally 3% cheaper.


SHORT LAMBS

28.5 micron and finer 7% dearer.

29.0 to 29.5 micron 3% dearer.

30 micron and coarser 4% dearer.


COMBING SKIRTINGS

All types up to 5% cheaper.


SHORT ODDMENTS

All types up to 5% cheaper.


PASSINGS

15% Passed In.
